May Have to Eat More Solar-Made Potato Chips

It's a sacrifice, I know.

But it sounds like Frito-Lay is substantially altering its factories to use solar power to make Sun-Chips and others in its brands. The goal is Net Zero:

Its goal is to take the Casa Grande plant off the power grid, or nearly so, and run it almost entirely on renewable fuels and recycled water. Net zero, as the concept is called, has the backing of the highest levels of corporate executives at PepsiCo, the parent company of Frito-Lay.

Now if only they would commit to using non-GMO, organic and locally-grown corn and other products. That would truly be guilt-free snacking!
